Municipal Band Celebrates 100 Years of Traditon With Centennial Gala

The Long Beach Municipal Band celebrated 100 years of entertaining audiences with a formal gala at the Long Beach Convention Center.  The event, held on March 15th, included an elegant band performance, dinner, dancing and a silent auction.

"We're delighted so many people came to celebrate," says Darren Held, Sr. Program Manager

of Partners of Parks.  "It's wonderful to see the band perform in an elegant setting after listening to so many great outdoor concerts."  The Municipal Band and Partners of Parks wish to thank everyone who attended the event, which raised nearly $40,000.  Some of our major supporters for the gala are listed below. Thank you for continuing the tremendous tradition of the Long Beach Municipal Band.
